Charcoal Vase

Using charcoal, in my Drawing 2 class, we had to use subtractive and additive methods. Subtraction is done through covering an entire page with an even coat of blended charcoal, and then using a kneaded eraser to draw in highlighted areas. Additive is done through adding more charcoal in spots that need further darkening. Fun Fact: I was the only one who drew the vase, everyone else drew the torso that was set up.
