The background is made of Cardboard painted with acrylic paint. The ‘filled’ in honeycomb is made of dried acrylic paint that has been harvested from paint pallets, turned over, and painted with many coats of yellow acrylic paint. The bees are all cut out from card-stock and painted with watercolors.
